Red Forty

So by now it seems to me like everyone knows who Lucero is.
Very energetic Punk/Folk/Country/Rock. How ever you want to say it. Well this isn't Lucero. Chapple showed me this band, Red Forty. Ben Nichols former project pre-Lucero. Little more punk rock early Jawbreaker feel circa 24 Hour Revenge Therapy/Biouvac.

the Exploding Hearts

One of the most despised bands I've ever listened to. Most think it's garbage, I think it's pure genious. Very upbeat power-pop with early euro punk/pop influences such as the Undertones, the Jam and the Clash . Unfortunately all but 1 of the members were lost when they wrecked their van on the way home from a show. They have recently (2006) released a B-sides album that when I find it I will post it.

Elliott

Very easy listening and sometimes upbeat. Dude has an amazing voice. I don't know shit about this band except that i found this album one day and since loved it. I hope to find their other albums and post them soon.

William Elliott Whitmore

In my personal opinion, he is easily the best singer/songwriter of our time.
When we went to see him he was touring out of his mini-van alone. That alone deserves more respect than most artists get these days.

Homewrecker

"Middle of Nowhere Hardcore"
From the Bula (Ashtabula, OH).These kids probably have nothing better to do than write music out there. It's paying off. "Portrait of Nothing" being their second release, which was released on cassette, you can really tell they are starting to find their niche.

Wreak Havoc

I was asked to take down Abandon Everything until it is released. You should still check their myspace and hear the songs they have posted. For now listen to the 7".

Gray Ghost

Doom/Hardcore. 1 part of this band is also in Steel Nation. In my personal opinion, the dude should just stick with this project. "Deep in the Shallow End" is set to be released June '09. For now here is their S/T 10".

Energy

In my opinion this band is picking up where AFI left off. Remnisant of AFI crica Black Sails and Art of Drowning. The singer may or may not idolize Davey Havok, but who's to say that's wrong when you're making music this good? Their frist album Punch the Clock has a more pop punk feel in my opinion, and the follow up Invasions of the Mind has a much darker matured sound.

Andrew Jackson Jihad

My friend Johnny opened my eyes to this guy and It's a wonderful thing. A mix between Punk views and Folk music. Slightly reminds me of Against Me. This Download includes a split with Ghost Mice who has a noticeably less edgy folk sound.

Paper Rival

Paper Rival has unfortunately since split ways. One of the most bone chilling bands I have ever personally witnessed. The EP, for me is preferred but both are outstanding releases.

Frontier Ruckus

I got to have a short drunken conversation with the mind behind the band Matthew Milia in which i found out this is what the guy does for a living. After talk about the present state of the economy I'm sure he was thinking "This kid needs to get away from me.". So, I purchased the CD and bid him farewell on his journey.
